There was some discussion about whether or not flying to Stockton requires flying into Airspace.
I checked the Newcastle VNC, but it's such large scale, and the lines at the boundaries of airspace are so wide that it's hard to tell EXACTLY where they go. It does however indicate that the boundary is a touch north of the harbour rather than right up the centre.
I had my gps logging my flight on friday, so I loaded it up in SeeYou. According to see you data, I stayed at least 5 meters out of airspace.
Red is the williamtown Class C airspace, the line from the bottom right up to the centre of the image is my track across the harbour. I turned right pretty much right over the top of the General Washington, then flew WNW along the side of the landing paddock before turning left to come in for a landing. At no time in this flight did I enter the Class C airspace.
